Catherina Conservatory
EXCELLENCE AND PROFESSIONALISM
Catherine Conservatory, located in the village of Tarshiha, is a prominent cultural institution dedicated to promoting music and artistic expression within the community. Established in 1994, the conservatory has been committed to meeting the country’s cultural needs through the education and development of music and the arts. It serves as a hub for musicians, educators, and enthusiasts alike, fostering a deeper appreciation for music and nurturing local talent.
With a specialized curriculum developed by Dr. Taisser Haddad in collaboration with expert faculty members, the conservatory offers both internal and external educational programs for Arabic, Eastern, and Western musical instruments. Its educational branches include instruction in string instruments, wind instruments, percussion, piano, voice training, and Arabic singing. The academic program also covers courses in Eastern and Western music theory and history, as well as preparation for the five-unit Bagrut music exam, equipping students for admission to higher education institutions in music. High school students are also prepared for a Recital Specialization as part of their instrumental performance studies.
Beyond education, Catherine Conservatory plays a vital role in Tarshiha’s cultural landscape by organizing concerts, workshops, and artistic productions. It has formed its own ensemble, which now performs both locally and internationally, contributing to the vibrancy and richness of the artistic community. As part of its musical activities, the orchestra continues to engage in ambitious projects, striving for global recognition and leaving a lasting impact on the world of music.

MUSICAL FUTURES COMMUNITY
Conservatory teachers are highly skilled educators who specialize in teaching music, often at advanced levels. They typically work in conservatories, which are institutions dedicated to the study and practice of music, offering structured programs in performance, composition, music theory, and related disciplines. These teachers are experts in their respective instruments or areas of specialization and play a crucial role in nurturing the talents of aspiring musicians. They provide individualized instruction, critique performances, guide students in technical and expressive aspects of music, and often serve as mentors in shaping their students' careers in the music industry.
